There is no trick in this question. However, be wise on numbers. Don't treat $g = 9.81 \mbox{ m/s^2}$ or $9.78 \mbox{ m/s^2}$ here. $10$ is good enough to find the right choice.

In order to balance the force $F$ , tension and box's weight, the angle $\theta$ must be such that force is balanced in all directions.
Writing free body diagram, we have
Balance in x-direction: $T \sin \theta = 10$ , where $T$ is tension.
Balance in y-direction: $T \cos \theta = 2g = 20$ .
Dividing the first equation by the second equation, we got $\tan \theta = \frac{10}{20} = 0.5$

Hence, $\theta = \arctan 0.5$

The correct answer is (A). 75 of 100 people answered correctly.
